Translink, operating as Ulsterbus, Metro, Northern Ireland Railways and NITHCo, provide bus and rail services across Northern Ireland.

Translink’s Engineering Division plays a major role in ensuring safe, reliable, and well-presented Fleet of Buses and Trains to ensure they are available for service.

The teams operate from 26 workshops across the province and utilise the latest technology with a focus on continuous improvement.

Translink is at the forefront in the journey towards zero emission public transportation, and for all our Buses, Trains, and Buildings to be Net Zero by 2040.

We are an award-winning engineering department and have gained many accolades over the years. To maintain and develop the highest standards of engineering, a skilled workforce is a priority.

We have various opportunities for Fitters, Electricians and Body Builders to join our team for multiple locations across Northern Ireland!

We have permanent and fixed-term contracts available with multiple shift patterns to suit your lifestyle.

Salary: £33,550 per year plus shift allowance up to £10,065

What We’re Looking For:
✔ Recognised Vehicle Apprenticeship with NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent)
✔ 2+ years’ post-apprenticeship experience in a similar role within an automotive environment
Full, valid driving licence (PCV licence can be obtained)
