Translink Spirit In Action

ACTIVE TRAVEL CHALLENGE

The Active Travel Challenge is a project in partnership between Translink, Department for Infrastructure, Public Health Agency, Sustrans, Belfast City Council and Belfast Health and Social Care Trust to encourage commuters to make sustainable transport choices.

Much like the Translink Travel Challenge does with school aged children, the Active Travel Challenge encourages adults to make and log sustainable journeys with a range of prize incentives available to reward their efforts to embrace more active and sustainable travel patterns

Last Year

Last year the Challenge was held in September, over 1,000 people signed up from almost 80 different workplaces making 13,000 sustainable journeys which led to a healthier and more environmentally-friendly commute.
