Belfast is hosting Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann for the first time from Sunday 02 to Sunday 09 August 2026.

Belfast is a walkable city, if you are arriving at Belfast Grand Central Station by bus or train, it will take you less than 10 minutes to walk to Belfast City Hall. Visitors will be able to walk, cycle or use public transport to access events throughout the Fleadh.
Anyone travelling into Belfast City Centre is encouraged to plan ahead, leave extra time for journeys and choose from Park and Ride, public transport and active travel options.
Travelling to The Fleadh
By Coach: Cross-border bus services depart from Busaras Station in Dublin City centre and Dublin Airport every hour. Plan and Buy to reserve you seat.
By Train: Trains depart every hour from Dublin Connolly to Belfast Grand Central Station. Visit irishrail.ieto reserve you seat.
All of our bus and train services are operating as normal throughout the week, including Late Night Services on the Friday and Saturday.
Departures from Belfast City Airport and Belfast International Airport offer frequent connections into the heart of Belfast City Centre.
Use dedicated Park and Ride facilities at Eikon Exhibition Centre (close to the M1), Giant’s Park (close to M2) and Belfast Harbour (near the M3). Plus, Translink’s own Park and Ride sites are operating for local travel.
