Lisburn West Rail Halt and Park and Ride

Translink is leading the transformation of public transport to create a better connected, healthier and greener Northern Ireland.

Translink has obtained planning permission for the delivery of a new rail halt and park and ride facility at Lisburn West, at land east of Knockmore Road, (south of nos. 68-80 Addison Park and nos. 8-10 Knockmore Road and north of Flush Park).

Supporting Lisburn’s growing need for public transport infrastructure, the new rail halt will provide enhanced connectivity to public transport, encouraging this as a smarter, more active travel mode.

Translink wish to commence the approved scheme by carrying out enabling works around the access and parking areas. In support of this, Translink submitted a Section 54 planning application which facilitates the submission and approval of a Construction Management and Environmental Plan (CMEP) on a phased basis, initially prior to the enabling works and again before the main works.
