CHRISTMAS FOODSHARE

With the cost-of-living crisis impacting even more families this winter, Translink teamed up with FareShare to collect food and essential household items for families in need across Northern Ireland. Twenty-three departments from across Translink took part in this campaign. 

FareShare tackles food waste and food poverty by redistributing surplus food from the food industry and donations from organisations like Translink, to charities and community groups across the region.  Translink’s staff food collection was more important than ever as the charity was able to replenish empty shelves at their Mallusk warehouse.
