Emerge Music Festival 2025

Translink will be operating additional bus and rail services, including special bus departures from Derry~Londonderry, on Saturday 23rd August and Sunday 24th August for the Emerge Music Festival at Boucher Playing Fields.

Services are expected to be busy on both days, so we recommend planning your journey in advance using the Journey Planner and purchasing your tickets ahead of time via mLink or online.

Special Bus Departures

Special bus services will operate from Foyle Street Bus Centre Derry~Londonderry, on Saturday 23rd and Sunday 24th August, with both departures scheduled for 13:00. Tickets for these services must be pre-purchased online and will not be available at the station.

Metro 9B Service Enhancements

Additional capacity will be provided on the existing services on the 9 corridor throughout Saturday 23rd August and Sunday 24th August during the Emerge Festival. These services depart from Donegal Square East.

We will also have extra capacity on evening services from Lisburn Road returning to Donegal Square East on both days. Standard fares apply.

Additional Rail Services

Additional late night rail services will be operating to help concert goers get home from Emerge Festival on Saturday 23rd and Sunday 24th August. Passengers should use scheduled services to travel to Balmoral Train Station for the event, and return using the additional late night rail services provided.

We recommend purchasing your ticket in advance via mLink or online. Tickets will also be available from Ticket Vending Machines (TVM’s) and Translink rail staff. Standard fares apply.
