Lurgan Station

Plans are in progress to redevelop the existing Lurgan Train Station in order to provide a new station and an upgraded Park and Ride facility with increased capacity.

Translink have completed a period of Pre-Application Community Consultation for the proposed Lurgan Train Station Redevelopment Project and are preparing to submit a planning application to Armagh City, Banbridge and Craigavon Borough Council.

The proposed redevelopment of Lurgan Train Station includes the demolition of the existing station building and Musgrave Marketplace building to provide a new railway passenger facility in Lurgan as well as increased Park and Ride capacity, construction of a sheltering canopy on both platforms and a pedestrian/cycle bridge linking the station building and platforms.

Translink is committed to maintaining and enhancing our infrastructure to deliver a high quality, safe and sustainable public transport network today and for future generations.
