JAM Card

We Are Proud to Support The JAM Card

Translink are proud to be supporting the NOW Group’s innovative JAM Card and give Just a Minute to people with learning difficulties and autism.

People with learning disabilities want to live happy, independent lives, but sometimes everyday situations can stand in the way, such as getting correct change on the bus or getting off at the right train station.

That’s where a JAM Card can help, as a discrete way for people to indicate that they need ‘Just a Minute’ more time. It is a card that people can carry or display on their smart phone to tell train conductors, bus drivers, ticketing staff or those standing in the queue, that they need ‘Just a Minute’ a little patience and support.

Using a JAM Card
JAM Card was originally developed for those with learning disabilities and difficulties. However, it can be used by anyone with a communication barrier. It has been used widely used for a number of years on Metro and now we are rolling it out across all NI Railways and Ulsterbus services.
