TICKET TRANSFER

The following tickets can be transferred to use for travel on NI Railways, Ulsterbus or Goldliner services after 6.30pm on the same journey and within the date validity of the ticket (within Northern Ireland only).

To avail of ticket transfer passengers simply present their valid ticket for inspection to the bus driver or ticket staff/conductor as normal.

  • Day Return
  • 1 Month Return
  • Sunday Bus Rambler Ticket
NI Railways:
  • mLink Tickets
  • Paper Day Return
  • Paper 3 Day Select Return
  • Paper Weekly Ticket
  • Paper Monthly Ticket
  • Sunday Day Tracker 

Other Tickets

All other Translink ticket types and smartcards products (including all Metro/Glider tickets & smartcards) are not valid to be accepted for Ticket Transfer. For example: If you purchase an Ulsterbus Day Return ticket Bangor – Belfast then the return journey can be used on a NI Railways service (Belfast – Bangor) after 6.30pm.
