Terms and Conditions Bike Fobs
Below you will find terms and conditions for Translink Bike Fobs.
- Products purchased online are non-refundable.
- A key fob to join the scheme costs £10.
- Bicycle Key Fob for online purchases will be posted by Royal Mail Recorded Signed For delivery next working day. Translink accept no responsibility for items lost or delayed in the post. If you have not received your Bicycle Fob within 2 clear working days of booking contact Translink Contact Centre: contactcentre@translink.co.uk
- Key fob purchased online will be posted by Recorded Delivery to the address details provided during the purchase process.
- The key fob will be activated to allow entry into the secure facilities at the station you selected during the purchase process. If the fob fails to open the door, you should contact Translink on 028 90 66 66 30.
- You will receive an email invitation from www.saltoks.com to register your Bik Fob.
- Translink must be notified immediately if the key fob is lost or stolen. A replacement key fob will cost £10.
- Currently there is no on-going cost for participating in the scheme (after obtaining the key fob), however Translink reserves the right to charge for on-going use of the facility in the future. In that event, users would be under no obligation to continue in the scheme.
- Access is only available for one bicycle per key fob at any one time.
- Translink reserves the right to deactivate the key fob if the facility is misused.
- All bicycles must be individually locked (using your own locking device) whilst in the parking facility.
- Translink accepts no liability for any loss, damage or theft to bicycles, or contents thereof, whilst parked in the shelters. Furthermore, we accept no liability for any loss or damage (either to the bicycle or locking device) during the removal, storage and subsequent disposal of abandoned or inappropriately parked bicycles.
- Access to the key fob does not guarantee a bicycle parking space. Spaces will be allocated on a first come basis.
- Translink will give 2 weeks’ notice of removal of any items left unattended for longer than 3 weeks. Such items will be stored thereafter for 3 months. Any items unclaimed after this 3 months will be destroyed, or donated to our Charity Partner. You can reclaim your property by contacting Translink on 028 90 66 66 30, or by emailing feedback@translink.co.uk.
- Translink reserves the right to review usage of the scheme every 6 months and deactivate your fob, with notice of 14 days.
