Belfast Vital 2025

Translink will be operating bus specials and additional late night rail services on Thursday 28^th August (Sam Fender) and Friday 29^th August (Fontaines DC) for Belfast Vital 2025 at Boucher Playing Fields.  

Services are expected to be busy for both days, so we advise you plan your journey in advance via the Journey Planner App and buy your tickets in advance via mLink or online. 

Bus Special from Derry~Londonderry

A Bus special will operate from Foyle Street Bus Centre Derry~Londonderry, on Thursday 28th and Friday 29th August, both departing 15:00.  
Customers can only pre-purchase tickets for these coach specials online: 

• Thursday 28th August – Sam Fender (link to buy online page) Bus Special to Vital
• Friday 29th August - Fontaines DC (link to buy online page) Bus Special to Vital SOLD OUT

Bus departs Boucher Road, Belfast 30mins after end of event approx. at 23:30. Customers must confirm their return pick-up point with the driver before disembarking. 

Customers must arrive back to the coach a minimum of 15 minutes prior to departure. 

Belfast Shuttle Service

There will be a bus special shuttle service on Friday 29th August only.  

Customers can only pre-purchase tickets for these coach specials online. SOLD OUT

This shuttle will depart from Belfast Grand Central Station & drop off at Kennedy Way, Belfast. 

Shuttle Buses will be boarded on a first come, first served basis. These will operate:

• Outward from Belfast Grand Central Station to Kennedy Way, Belfast at 20 minute intervals from 16:00 until 20:00 
• Return from Kennedy Way to Belfast Grand Central Station at 10-minute intervals from 22:00 until 23:20 

METRO

Metro 9B Service Enhancements: 

There will be an additional capacity provided on the existing services on the 9 corridor throughout Saturday and Sunday on the Emerge Festival dates. These services depart from Donegal Square East. 

We will have additional capacity on our Saturday and Sunday evening service from along the Lisburn Road returning to Donegal Square East.

Additional Rail Services

Additional late services will be operating to get concert goers home from Belfast Vital on 28^th and 29^th August. Passengers should use scheduled services to make their way to Balmoral Train Station for the event, and can use the additional late night rail services for their return.

For passengers wishing to travel home on the Larne, Bangor or Coleraine lines, please use the additional late night services to travel from Balmoral Train Station to Belfast Grand Central Station and change here for your connecting line. Please plan your journey in advance via the Journey Planner App to allow for sufficient time to make your connection.

We encourage passengers to buy their ticket in advance via mLink or online. Tickets will be available from TVM’s on the day as well as from Translink rail staff.
