What is PCI compliance?

Payment Card Industry Data Security Standards (PCI DSS) are network security and business practice guidelines adopted by the card schemes such as Visa and MasterCard, to establish a security standard to protect customer’s payment card information. These standards are regulated by the PCI Council. It’s a mandatory requirement for all merchants such as Translink to comply with.

Paying with Credit or Debit Card

During the credit and debit card payment process via our website you will be redirected over a secure connection to NMI where you can securely enter your card details. This payment page will be securely integrated with the Translink website and will match the look and feel of the Translink website.

Paying with PayPal

You can now use your PayPal account to pay online for tickets via our website and mobile app. This will avoid the hassle of entering card details, security code and 3D Secure. Just follow the “Pay with PayPal” option at the checkout. For purchases via our website you will be taken to a screen where you input your PayPal login details. For purchases via our mobile app you will be required to set up a billing agreement which will provide a convenient one click check out each time.
