Easibus

Translink operates ten Easibus services along selected routes in Belfast.

The services provide accessible local bus services mainly, but not exclusively, for mobility-impaired people who cannot avail of existing conventional services.

These routes connect communities with services in their area, such as GP surgeries, shopping centres, churches and other essential shops.

Easibus routes can also be used to access the wider public transport network.

Transport Programme for People With Disabilities

Revenue support for the Easibus service is provided through the Department for Infrastructure’s Transport Programme for People With Disabilities (TPPD).

The TPPD supports services in areas that contain a high number of people who are mobility impaired and who could sustain sufficient demand for these services.
