OUR STAFF CHARITY

In addition to our charity partner activity, our employee-based charity scheme contributes through a payroll Give As You Earn scheme.

During 2022 the committee asked staff to nominate charities focused on key issues including mental and physical health, food support, and older and younger people

£38,000 in Donations

In total £38,000 was donated to the following 13 local charities; Foyle Search & Rescue, Simon Community, Hope 4 Life, Chest Heart Stroke, Cancer Focus NI, Women’s Aid, Hygiene Bank, Peoples Kitchen Belfast, Alzheimer’s Society, Dementia NI, Crossroads Care NI and Translink’s own Christmas ‘Stuff A Bus NI’ initiative supporting Salvation Army and St Vincent de Paul.

Community Partnership Fund

The Translink Community Partnership fund is also used to encourage and reward employees who volunteer in their local community. Employees can apply through this scheme for match funding to bolster their fundraising efforts.
