Chris Conway awarded ‘Outstanding Contribution’ to the Transport Industry | Press News

Translink’s Group Chief Executive Chris Conway has been awarded the ‘outstanding contribution’ to the industry at the NI Logistics and Transport Gala Dinner.

Nick McCullough, Dinner Secretary, said:

“This award is presented to those who have made a huge positive impact on the transport industry in Northern Ireland. Over the last decade we have seen a huge programme of work to enhance local public transport with innovations in new zero emission fleet, new digital and contactless ticketing and the delivery of the world class Belfast Grand Central station to name but a few.

"These developments are playing a vital role in attracting more passengers while enhancing the environmental, social, and economic wellbeing of Northern Ireland. Over the past thirteen years, this award has honoured leading figures in the industry, and we’re proud to continue shining a spotlight on those driving positive change across the region. The annual Gala Dinner is a wonderful celebration, bringing together individuals and organisations making outstanding contributions to Northern Ireland’s transport and logistics sector and we look forward to seeing what 2026 will bring."
