Undergraduate Placements
If you’re a university student looking for a 12-month industrial placement offered as part of your degree course you can find it at Translink.
We advertise our Undergraduate placements with local universities and regularly have opportunities within Mech/Elect Engineering, Civil Engineering, Finance, Human Resources and Marketing & Communications.
Our Undergraduate placements are generally fixed-term for 12 months and start in September, however, recruitment for placements will usually start the year before. Our placement opportunities offer a competitive salary and benefits package including a minimum of 24 days annual leave per year plus set public holidays (pro rata).
Short work placements
Secondary School Students and Leavers
We work with the Department for the Economy and the Department for Communities to offer short unpaid placement opportunities through a range of schemes and initiatives with Mencap and Now Group. We can also offer secondary school students and leavers 1 week unpaid work placements where they can be accommodated across the business.
A placement request form must be completed and returned to us and proof of age supplied before you can be considered for an unpaid placement.
