Services

Queen's University Belfast

Queen's University Belfast campus is easy to get to using Translink services. Botanic Train Station is only a 5 minute walk to Queen's. Coach and bus services arrive at Great Victoria Street Station, which is also connected by rail (or alternatively is a 10 minute walk).

  • U1 and U2 Uni-Link services operate to and from Queens University Belfast: 
  • The U1 Service operates from University Square Botanic Avenue to Great Victoria Street, the City Centre, Ulster University Belfast and Yorkgate Train Station. 
  • The U2 Service operates from University Square Botanic Avenue to Great Victoria Street, Ulster University Belfast, Northern Regional College and Ulster University Jordanstown.
  • Regular Metro services also serve Queen's.
  • 270 and 261 serve QUB from Monaghan/Armagh and Enniskillen.
  • Travel for just £2.35 yLink day ticket on mLink for unlimited day travel on Uni-Link, Metro and Glider services.  Contactless payments are available onboard all Metro services including the U1 and U2 Uni-Link, More on Metro Contactless Payment

Ulster University

We have a fantastic range of bus and rail services that will take you to and from all Ulster University campuses. 

Belfast Campus

  • For travel to and from the Belfast Campus, we’ve our U1 and U2 Uni-Link services. The U1 Service operates from University Square Botanic Avenue to Great Victoria Street, the City Centre, Belfast Campus and Yorkgate Train Station. 
  • There’s a free Metro bus transfer travel from Yorkgate Train Station for passengers with a valid rail ticket, for travel to and from Belfast Campus and the City Centre, both on the U1 Service and passing Metro scheduled services.  
  • The U2 Service links the Belfast and Jordanstown Campuses, operating from University Square Botanic Avenue to Great Victoria Street, Belfast Campus, Northern Regional College and Jordanstown Campus. 
  • Travel for just £2.35 yLink day ticket on mLink for unlimited day travel on Uni-Link, Metro and Glider services.  
  • Contactless payments are available onboard all Metro services including the U1 and U2 Uni-Link, More on Metro Contactless Payment
Jordanstown Campus 
  • If you’re travelling by train, travel to Jordanstown Train Station on the Larne line, followed by an 11 minute walk to campus
  • The U2 Service links the Belfast and Jordanstown Campuses, operating from University Square Botanic Avenue to Great Victoria Street, Belfast Campus, Northern Regional College and Jordanstown Campus. 

Coleraine Campus 

  • Travel to the Coleraine campus by bus, using our Triangle service 140A or B from Coleraine Bus Centre to Cloonavin, Marina. Once you disembark, you’ll have a small distance to walk to get to campus. 
  • Or if you’d prefer to travel directly to campus, use Triangle service 140C or D from Coleraine Bus Centre to Central Buildings. 
  • Going by train? At Coleraine Train Station, travel to Ulster University on the Portrush line. 

Magee Campus 

  • If you’ve travelled by train to Derry~Londonderry, take the free bus service from the train station to Foyle Street bus centre. From here you can hop on a bus to take you to campus. 
  •  To travel to the bottom entrance of Magee, take the 1a, 11a, 12a, 13a or 13b. Or if your next class is closer to the top of Magee, take the 10a or 11b.
  • From 26 February 2023 until 2 June 2023 the following services will extend to  Duncreggan Road, Derry~Londonderry for more plan your journey.
    • 212 departing Belfast at 1815, 1915, 2015 and 2115.
    • 273 departing Dungannon at 1810/Omagh at 1900 and departing Dungannon at 1910/Omagh at 2000 

St Mary’s University College Belfast

St Mary’s is situated on the Falls Road in Belfast and is easily accessed by Metro and Glider services.
  • Glider service G1 departing College Square East
  • Metro service 10a/k/m departing Durham Street 
  • 25 minute walk from Great Victoria Street

Stranmillis University 

Stranmillis is situated in the heart of South Belfast and can be easily accessed by Metro service 8a/d
  • 35 minute walk from Great Victoria Street
  • 25 minute walk from Botanic Station 

Belfast Met

Titanic Campus
  • The Glider, G2 departs from Wellington Place, Belfast city Centre and stops directly outside the Belfast MET Titanic Quarter. It departs every 15 minutes at peak times Monday to Friday, as well as every 30 minutes at Weekends.
  • 15 minute walk from Titanic Quarter Train Station. 
Millfield Campus
  • Belfast Met Millfield is served by the G1, which departs every 7 to 8 minutes during peak times Monday to Friday
  • 10 minute walk from Europa Buscentre
