From Wednesday 30 March 2022 Ukrainian refugees arriving in Northern Ireland or the Republic of Ireland can get free onward travel on Translink buses and trains.

Where you can travel

Free travel is available on:

• Metro
• Glider
• Ulsterbus, (including Goldliner)
• NI Railways
• Enterprise trains to Dublin

What you need

To get free travel, you need to show:

• your Ukrainian passport or ID issued by the Ukrainian Government.
• proof that you arrived in Northern Ireland or the Republic of Ireland within the last 7 days (such as an airline boarding card, ferry ticket or a booking email).
