At Translink, safety is always our top priority and our Rail Cool Rules campaign aims to keep young people safe when using or near the railway. It comprises easy rules to follow and supports the Northern Ireland curriculum ‘Personal Development & Mutual Understanding’ area of learning.
This programme, available to schools across Northern Ireland, is being delivered in partnership with Rail Safe Friendly, which progresses schools through the accreditation process through their Learn Live programme.
If you would like to become an accredited school, or become a sponsor/partner of the programme in Northern Ireland, visit www.railsafefriendly.com or email railsafefriendly@learnliveuk.com. Remember everybody, Rail Cool Rules!

By reaching young people, particularly before they head off to secondary level education and enjoy more independence, we can instil safe and responsible behaviour on and around the railway and wider public transport network.
