To help people going to the Belfast City Half Marathon on Sunday 20 September 2026, there will be early morning trains from Coleraine, Newry, Bangor, and Larne to Belfast Lanyon Place – please see below for departure times.
Please be advised that the services stop at Lanyon Place, and passengers are advised to walk or avail of scheduled Metro services to make their way to Ormeau Park. Please plan your journey in advance via the Journey Planner App to give yourself enough time to arrive for the start of the event.
A line closure will be in place for rail services between Derry~Londonderry and Coleraine. Passengers travelling from Derry~Londonderry to Belfast are advised to take the 06:00 212 Service from Foyle Street Station, arriving at Belfast Grand Central Station at 08:00.
