Extend your night with Translink’s late night services. Translink has launched the year-long bus pilot scheme for late night services, operating every Friday and Saturday night in 2026.

Whether you are enjoying late-night socialising or working the late shift, plan your travel home with Translink’s Late Night Services.


Metro

Metro services will operate across 11 main routes across the city, picking up at Metro bus stops along the route. 

Standard fares apply, including half-fare and full-fare concessionary passes. Great value: £4 for unlimited all-day travel with mLink or contactless tap on 2+ journeys.

Coach and bus services will operate to Derry~Londonderry, Newry, Banbridge, Dungannon, Ballyclare, Crumlin, Templepatrick, Newcastle, Ballynahinch, Downpatrick and Carryduff.

In addition to the Late Night Services bus pilot, the scheduled rail services last departures are at the following times on Friday and Saturday nights, from Belfast Grand Central Station.

Tickets to/from Belfast Grand Central Station

Passengers should use Ticket Vending Machines at stations to buy their tickets before they board their service. 

Staff will be on hand in Grand Central Station on Friday and Saturday evenings to ensure passengers are able to purchase tickets and provide assistance.
