The Equality Impact Assessment (EQIA) carried out by Translink on potential changes to services and fares has now closed. We will review and analyse the responses and the final report will be issued in due course.
This consultation (closed 30 September 2026, 17:00) provided an opportunity for passengers, stakeholders and the wider public to share their views on the potential impacts of changes to services and fares, proposed in response to significant financial pressures facing public transport.
While we have worked hard to manage costs and grow passenger numbers, reductions in funding in real terms mean we must consider options to ensure the long-term sustainability of the network.
We understand how important public transport is to individuals, families and communities across Northern Ireland and we would like to thank everyone who has submitted a response.
