Translink is undertaking a public consultation as part of an Equality Impact Assessment (EQIA) on a range of potential changes to services and fares.
Public transport is currently facing significant financial pressures. While we have worked hard to manage costs and grow passenger numbers, reductions in funding in real terms mean we must consider options to ensure the long-term sustainability of the network.
We understand how important public transport is to individuals, families and communities across Northern Ireland. No decisions have been made at this stage.
This consultation is an opportunity for passengers, stakeholders and the wider public to share their views on the potential impacts of these proposals. Your feedback will help inform our assessment and any future decisions.
We are particularly keen to understand how proposals may affect different groups of people and how any adverse impacts could be reduced or mitigated.
The consultation will remain open until 17:00 on 30 September 2026.
