Derry~Londonderry Line Engineering Works, Monday 6th May until Saturday 25 May 2019

Late Evening / Early Morning Line Closure between Coleraine & Derry~Londonderry.

Monday 6 May until Saturday 25 May;

Mondays to Fridays

  • 2110 from Great Victoria Street will terminate Coleraine; bus substitution between Coleraine and Derry~Londonderry
  • 0612 Derry~Londonderry to Coleraine will be a bus substitution.


  • 2110 from Great Victoria Street will operate to Portrush; bus substitution between Coleraine and Derry~Londonderry
  • 0638 Derry~Londonderry to Coleraine will be a bus substitution

Bus substitution services operate between;

  • Coleraine & Castlerock
  • Coleraine & Derry~Londonderry serving Limavady (for Bellarena)

Lift Maintenance - Lanyon Place, Bangor, Botanic and Yorkgate

Essential lift maintenance work is scheduled for a number of NIR stations.  These works will enhance lift reliability and replace safety critical functions.

This requires the lift/s to be out of commission during these times.

Those stations affected are listed below along with time frames of which these lifts will not be in use. 

  • Bangor: 10th - 20th June*
  • Lanyon Place: 10th - 20th June*
  • Yorkgate: 25th - 29th May*


Passengers are requested to travel to another NIR station where possible.  For passengers that cannot travel via another station, please give 24 hours notice prior to travel by contacting the Contact Centre on 02890666630

Portadown Rail Station Park and Ride - from Monday 27th August 2018

To facilitate improvements and expansion of the park and ride at Portadown Train Station, the park and ride will be closed from Monday 27 August 2018 for approximately 12 weeks.

A new larger, additional, Park & Ride facility with cycle storage is available at Corcrain Road, with passenger access to the train station via Obins Street entrance.  Please allow extra time to get your train.

For the benefit of customers, increased accessible parking is available at Portadown Train Station (main entrance).

Belfast Lanyon Place (Central Station) Car Park Information

Due to essential works being undertaken there may be some disruption to passengers using Lanyon Place (Central Station) car park until further notice; please allow additional time for your journey.

Dufferin Avenue, Bangor Overflow Car Park
Free passenger overflow parking now available at Dufferin Avenue, Bangor for Translink passengers.


Train services running through this station are returning to normal but some services may still be delayed or revised. Normal services will be provided as soon as possible.
