Derry~Londonderry Line - UPDATE

The Derry~Londonderry line signalling project is on schedule and is due to be substantially complete by year end.  This is part of our commitment to further investment in modernising this part of the rail network.

Translink is advising passengers that there could be some service disruptions over the coming weeks as testing and commissioning of the new signalling system on the Derry~Londonderry  to Coleraine line is set to continue until the end of the year.

We understand our passengers’ frustration and disappointment with the recent level of service on the line and we would apologise to them for any inconvenience caused as we work through these issues.

We are putting additional contingency plans in place to minimise the overall disruption and will communicate these as the work progresses.

We remain focused on getting this work fully completed and delivering a more resilient rail service for the North West.

Passengers can keep up to date on the latest developments and timetable issues relating to this project through our website:  http://www.translink.co.uk and social media platforms @Translink_NI or call the Contact Centre on 028 9066 6630.
