Ulsterbus & Foyle Metro Services, Halloween Week 31 October, 01 & 02 November 2018

A school holiday service will operate on all local Ulsterbus & Foyle Metro services during Halloween week.

Halloween Carnival Wednesday 31 October between 1900 and 2100;

  • Goldline, Ulsterbus & Foyle Metro services 2, 4 & 5 will operate to and from the Tourist Office on Foyle Street.
  • Foyle Metro services 1, 10, 11, 12 & 13 will operate to & from Council Offices on Strand Road..
  • After 2100 all services will operate from within Foyle Street Bus Station

 

In addition to existing services; these additional services will operate at 22:00 to the following destinations on Halloween Night:

  • 2b to Nelson Drive / Summer Meadows / Kilfennan
  • 5a to Gobnascale then Curryneirin 
  • 8a Creggan / Lone Moor  
  • 10a to Ballymagroarty / Woodbrook

 

In addition to existing services; these additional services will operate at 2300 to the following destinations on Halloween Night:

  • 273 Omagh via Strabane ( all stops en-route )
  • 144 Limavady via Strathfoyle & Eglinton
  • 148 Dungiven via Claudy & Feeny• 1a Culmore Point
  • 2b to Nelson Drive / Summer Meadows / Kilfennan
  • 5a to Gobnascale then Curryneirin
  • 10a Ballymagroarty / Woodbrook
  • 12a Slievemore
  • 13a Glenabbey / Woodbrook

 
256 Express Bridge St. Belfast - Larne Information, Thursday 18 October
Due to unforeseen circumstances, the 256 16.35 Larne Express service from Bridge Street, Belfast to Larne will not be operating this afternoon....All intending passengers will be accommodated on the 256 16.50 hrs service which will be operated by a higher capacity double deck vehicle.
 
300 Belfast International Service Information

Planned roadworks will begin on the Killead Road roundabout for a period of 1 week commencing 15th October 2018...this will involve resurfacing of the Killead road roundabout with full closure from 7pm to 6am. 

  • All 300 services during these times will be diverted along the A6 to Antrim along the Belmont road and up the Dublin road to the Belfast International Airport, the return route will be the Dublin Road, Belmont Road and the A6 to Templepatrick....


Day traffic should not be effected but may cause some delays at peak times.

  • Once the Killead road roundabout section is completed the Oldstone road will be closed to all vehicles for a period of 5 weeks. This is to allow the complete re surfacing of the road from Killead roundabout to the A6 Belfast road.  This will require the section from A6 Antrim (Belfast Road) to its Junction with the 7 Miles straight having a complete closure from the 29th October for a full week (under the railway bridge at Muckamore) this should only affect local Antrim depot services.

 

 
212 & 246 - New Toome Park & Ride Bus Stop
From Monday 24 September 2018 the new Toome Park & Ride Site will open.
Services 212 & 246 will serve the stop in the Park & Ride from this date.

The stops along the Moneynick Road will no longer be served. 
 
Castledawson Roundabout Area
From Monday (24th September) the Castledawson Roundabout and ALL roads leading to the roundabout will be down to one lane...delays are to be expected (ongoing roadworks).
 
651 Sprucefield Park & Ride Car Park Information

Please be advised the gates for this site (Sprucefield P&R) will be locked after the last service departure 19:00 (from Belfast Europa Buscentre) Monday-Friday.  Bus arrives in to the car park at 1920.
