Travel Advice

Things might have changed a little since the last time you were on board but we are committed to ensuring everyone has a safe and enjoyable journey with us.

It's Important to Feel Safe

We have some travel guidelines that you can follow before and during your journey.
Plan Your Journey
Make sure you plan your journey using our journey planner, timetables or via the journey planner app. If you can, try to travel off peak.
Buy Your Ticket
Use pre-paid tickets such as the free mLink mobile ticketing app, Smartlink, dayLink, iLink or contactless payments. For more see Travel Guidelines - Flexible Ticket Options
Don’t forget your face covering
Wearing a face covering on board public transport is mandatory.
Wash Your Hands
Please ensure you wash or sanitise your hands before you travel and as frequently as possible when you travel – bring a hand sanitiser with you if you can and use our hand sanitising dispensers at main stations.
Respect Our Colleagues
Please be patient while getting on and off services. Treat transport staff with respect and follow any instructions and notices on board or in station. We are trying to ensure your safety and wellbeing. For more see Travel Advice - What we are Doing
Don't Travel if you have Symptoms
You should not travel if you are experiencing coronavirus symptoms. For more advice visit
