Today (2 October) independent research released shows that our bus and rail services have got high scores for service reliability and punctuality. It is the second consecutive monitor our services have once again achieved a score of 100% for reliability and have either met or exceeded 'on time' targets.


From the research our passengers are telling us they want more best value ticket options. The Happy Metro Saturdays has been very encouraging as more passengers are aware of the dayLink and Smartlink card savings instead of paying cash fares. The yLink team have been attending fresher fairs across the country telling young people about how they can save on multi-journey tickets. But we still need our employees to spread the word about Translink and encourage more people to use our services for their commute to work, leisure or business.

These results highlight our commitment to providing excellent customer satisfaction across Metro, NI Railways and Ulsterbus. Well done to everyone. I am positive we can build on the success and continue to deliver excellent customer service to ensure more and more people come on board with us.
