"thousands using our services for the first time"
16th August 2013

Dear Colleagues,

This week is again busy our services bringing thousands to two top music festivals.

Our buses, coaches and trains brought thousands of music fans to and from Kings of Leon and Snow Patrol concerts at Boucher Road in Belfast on Wednesday and Thursday this week as part of Tennent's Vital 2013, and will be on hand again tonight as Avicii takes to the stage for the finale.

Also, the Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann takes place in Derry~Londonderry this week. This will be the first time the world's largest celebration of Irish music comes to Northern Ireland attracting thousands of musicians from across Ireland and further afield. We have special coaches running from Belfast, Enniskillen, Omagh, Dungannon, Magherafelt and Newry as well as special shuttle bus services running between campsites, competition venues and the city centre catering for visitors and musicians. We have a variety of great value tickets available and would ask you to remind our visitors of them to help them get the best value travel for their stay.

Last weekend we operated very successful Park & Ride services for the Newcastle Airshow. This event proved hugely popular and as a result we carried large numbers of customers both on the P&R and also on our Belfast, Kilkeel, Downpatrick and Lisburn routes into Newcastle. Events continue in this area with a series of 'Granite' bus tours for passengers to experience the best of the breath-taking Mourne Mountains as part of our partnership with Newcastle Arts Festival from 15-18th August. The Festival offers a special programme of music, comedy and arts at the foot of the Mournes.

These kind of events help us to showcase our services to a range of new people and help us grow our business overall.

I want to thank all of you who have worked hard to deliver our services professionally, efficiently and with courtesy across the country throughout our busy event filled summer. This is making a great impression on the thousands who may be using our services for the first time.
