Applications for our Operational Management Trainee Programme are now closed.

Our 2 year (Operations) and 3 year (Engineering) training programmes will see you undertake placements throughout the business to provide you with the all-round skills you need to be a future Business or Engineering Manager in Translink.

You will undertake challenging projects and gain the skills and experience to enable you to run a busy bus depot or railway line, an engineering department or another managerial role.

By undertaking one of our Graduate Programmes you will be joining a highly successful public transport organisation, employing in excess of 4200 people. Our bus and train services focus on delivering integrated travel solutions for approximately 84 million customer journeys every year.

What Qualifications You Need

Degree in Engineering

Possess or expect to obtain at least a 2:2 degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, BEng (Hons) or equivalent by June 2020.

Operations Graduate Degree

At least a 2.2 degree in any discipline for the Operations Graduate Programme.

What Skills and Experience You Need

  • minimum of one years' experience working in industry, commerce or retail (this can include your year placement)
  • prepared to work at any of our locations throughout Northern Ireland
  • a current driving licence
  • be hard working, committed and determined with excellent customer service and people skills and not afraid of a challenge
  • be ambitious and self-motivated with the confidence to communicate with people at all levels inside and outside of the Company

Ready for Management
