110 Service Information, Saturday 22 & Sunday 23 September 2018 
This Saturday (22/9) & Sunday (23/9) the Moneymore Rd Roundabout (Cookstown) will be closed.

  • Services between Magherafelt & Cookstown will be diverted. Intending passengers wishing to board the bus from Cookstown are advised to go to the Bus Station-which is the Union St. Bus Shelter stop... (departures from Magherafelt will operate as normal but only serve Cookstown Bus Station).
 
Culture Night, Belfast City Centre Diversions - Fri 21st Sept 2018

High Street & Bridge Street bus stops will be suspended for the below services from *13:45 onwards on Friday 21st September 2018 RE Culture Night, Belfast City Centre. (*Updated 13:45)

  • Services 120 / 153 / 253 /653 will operate to and from Laganside Bus Station using Dunbar Link. The last pick up leaving the City Centre will be at Arnotts Fruit Store
  • Services 218 / 219 / 256 will operate direct to/from Europa via Westlink
 
26 & 26a Diversion, Monday 17 September - Tuesday 25 September 2018

Due to the Ballynahinch Road being closed between Monday 17 September until Tuesday 25 September services 26 & 26a will be diverted as follows;

  • Waterloo Road, Ravernet Road, Comber Road then Legacurry Road (both ways)
 
Newry to Crossmaglen Service Update

From Monday 17th September for 6 weeks the services between Newry and Crossmaglen will be affected as follows: 

  • Early morning service and school buses travelling from Crossmaglen to Newry are as normal. 
  • School buses in the afternoon are getting access as normal. 
  • Services during the day departing Newry travel along Maphoner Road Mullaghbawn to stone bridge. The bus then WILL NOT serve Tullymacrieve Road or Aughanduff Road. Instead the bus will turn left and travel towards Forkhill, out the Shean Road and onto the Dundalk /Newtownhamilton Road where it will travel to Fords Cross / Silverbridge / Crossmaglen. 
  • The return journey will be operated the same but in reverse. The 18.15 Mon/Fri service departing Newry and all Saturday services will operate as normal.
 
Belfast Service Disruption (Ongoing)

Due to a fire at Primark (in Belfast City centre); Ulsterbus services operating to/from Belfast will be subject to delays and possible disruption. Diverted services will be listed below:

  • 300 Belfast - International Airport services will operate an alternative route out of Belfast (passengers can board at Europa Buscentre or new temporary bus stop at Queen Street - will not be picking up at York St)....service will depart Queen Street then operate via Divis Street on to Westlink...(Inbound services will be able to drop off at North Street and then terminating at Europa Buscentre).
  • Ulsterbus Services to Larne, Antrim, Ballymena, Coleraine and Carrickfergus are now serving their normal respective stops on High Street and Bridge Street (163/563 omitting Royal Avenue).
 
85H School Bus - Omagh Area

There is a road closure between Eskra Crossroads and Fintona crossroads, Corkhill Road starting Monday 3rd September for 3 weeks approximately. Bus stops between those 2 locations will not be serviced due to bridge maintenance.

This will affect Service 85H both mornings and afternoons. Pick up points will be at Eskra crossroads and Fintona Crossroads.

 
Dundonald Hospital - Newtownards Information
From Monday 20th August 2018 passengers at Dundonald Hospital for Newtownards are to board the buses at the new Glider stop - this is a permanent arrangement.
 
402 Rambler Coleraine - Ballycastle Information
From 10th July 2018 (until further notice) the 1550 402 Rambler service from Coleraine to Ballycastle will not serve Bushmills Distillery or Ballyness Caravan Park.
 
Bangor - Bloomfield Shopping Centre Bus Stop
Due to building work in the carpark of Bloomfield shopping centre the bus stop in front of “Mothercare” will be suspended from 10:05 on Tuesday 05/06/18 until further notice. This will affect service 303A to and from Donaghadee.

  • Passengers should now use the stop on the slip road at the rear of McDonalds (normally used by service 302E).
 

Killagan Stop (Logans Fashion) Services 173 & 218 Information

Due to road works on the A26, the bus shelter has been removed and coned off at Logans Fashions (Killagan) northbound until further notice.

A temporary stop is in operation 100 metres further northbound, just past the end of the Killagan Road end. This will affect all 218 and 173 services toward Ballymoney and Coleraine. 

 

Ulsterbus - Stewartstown Road Stop Suspension - Ongoing

With immediate effect, due to construction works the bus stop located on the Stewartstown Road CITY BOUND at the Shaws Road junction has been suspended for the duration of the Belfast Rapid Transport works to the footpath.

The nearest alternative stops are located at Stewartstown Road – Saint Genevieve’s (Connor Rise) or Andersonstown Road – Ballyowen. This will affect Ulsterbus service 532.

 

Ulsterbus - Donegall Street Relocation of Bus Stop from 9th October 2015 - Relocation of 1st bus stop in York Street

Due to demolition and rebuilding work associated with the new University of Ulster building at York Street it will be necessary to suspend the first stop in York Street for 30 months from 09:30 on Friday 9th October 2015.

All services Metro and Ulsterbus will all be relocated to the 2nd stop  near Frederick Street. The inner lane will be taken out to be used as a covered walkway for pedestrians as there will be a hoarding the length of the footpath from Donegall Street to Frederick Street for the duration of the work.

The bus shelter will be inaccessible but there will be a marked gap in the covered walkway to allow boarding/alighting at this point.

 

Dufferin Avenue, Bangor Overflow Car Park

Free passenger overflow parking now available at Dufferin Avenue, Bangor for Translink passengers.

 

Many Ulsterbus & Foyle Metro services will have minor timetable amendments or additional departures, mainly to Monday to Friday timetables

Service 234

  • 14:10 234 to Coleraine will operate 30 minutes earlier at 13:40 and will terminate at Coleraine Buscentre
  • 15:50 234 Coleraine to Derry~Londonderry will run at 15:00. During the summer it will operate to Derry~Londonderry, during school term it will terminate at Limavady

Service 273

  • 07:05 Derry to Belfast via Omagh will operate 15 minutes earlier at 06:50 and run 15 minutes earlier throughout. This only affects the Monday to Friday timetable.
  • 06:35 Dungannon to Derry~Londonderry will run 10 minutes earlier at 06:25 and run 10 minutes earlier throughout, departing Omagh at 07:15 and Strabane at 07:55

Minor timetable changes to Monday to Friday timetable

  • 07:15 Derry~Londonderry to Strabane will run 5 minutes earlier at 07:10
  • 08:15 Derry~Londonderry to Strabane will run 15 minutes earlier at 08:00
  • Additional departure to Derry~Londonderry-Strabane at 08:40
  • 07:55 Strabane to Derry~Londonderry will operate 5 minutes earlier at 07:50

 

Service 147/148

  • 14:10 Derry~Londonderry to Dungiven will operate 30 minutes earlier at 13:40
  • Additional service 148 Derry~Londonderry to Feeny at 13:10
  • 13:05 Dungiven to Derry~Londonderry will operate 35 minutes earlier at 12:30
