EXPRESSION OF INTEREST - Taxi Stand and Services for NIR

Northern Ireland Railways (NIR) wish to tender for a licensed taxi company who is prepared to lease the taxi stand at Belfast Central Railway Station, using uniformed operatives, for an annual fee and also tender to provide a 24/7 licensed taxi service for NIR operational requirements in the Greater Belfast area.

Short-listed tenderers will be required to provide a bid offer equal to or above a floor amount of 10K for the annual lease fee for the taxi stand and associated equipment/services at Central Station. This fee will be payable to Translink on commencement of the new contract and annually thereafter. Bidders will also have to demonstrate their ability to meet NIR taxi service requirements and that they and their drivers will comply and conform to all relevant taxi service legislation and can operate wheelchair accessible vehicles.

The successful tender will be expected to maintain an accounting system capable of monthly invoicing were required.

It must be noted, that in exceptional circumstances NIR may require at short notice as many as up to 100 vehicles at any one time.

The contract period will be initially for 3 years with an option to extend for a further period not exceeding 3 years.

PRE-QUALIFICATION QUESTIONNAIRE - Taxi Stand and Services for NIR

EXPRESSION OF INTERES - Supply of Hi-Visibility Wet Weather Jackets and Leggings

NI Railways require a supplier of orange Hi-Visibility out door jackets and leggings for use in extreme weather conditions.

Applicants will be invited to tender for the supply and delivery of approximately 200 jackets and leggings to be delivered to depots across the NI Railways network for a period of 3 years, and two further 12 month extension options.

It is anticipated that the 1^st delivery will be made in September 2009, subject to Translink Executive Board approval.

Short-listed tenderers will be required to provide samples of all size ranges to NI Railways for inspection and testing prior to the award of contract.
