in Winnock
The Winnock was designed for Christmas. The atmosphere created by the open log fires, beamed ceilings along with the friendly informal service, and fun entertainment, ensure there is never a dull moment. A relaxing white Christmas is guaranteed with the hotels very own snow making machine.
Day 1 - Tueday
We take the mid-day Stena HSS to Stranraer and proceed directly to Drymen. After checking into the hotel there is a welcome drinks reception.
Dinner is a three course table d’hote menu followed by an evening of Scottish entertainment and dancing.

Day 2 - Wednesday -
Christmas Eve
After a full Scottish breakfast you have the option of visiting Edinburgh or staying in the hotel to relax, where afternoon tea with a selection of pastries is served.
A three course table d’hote dinner tonight is followed by an historical ‘tour’ of Rob Roy country with a local historian. For those wishing to go to Midnight Mass there is mulled wine and mince pies on your return.
Day 3 Thursday -
Christmas Day
Enjoy your full Scottish breakfast with free time before the traditional Christmas lunch. There is a visit from Santa and roving carol singers from 1.30pm - 4.30pm, with afternoon tea with Christmas cake.
Dinner tonight is an evening buffet followed by seasonal evening entertainment.

4 - Friday -
Boxing Day
After your Scottish breakfast the morning is free to enjoy the beauty of Loch Lomond and the surrounding area. In the hotel this afternoon there is tea with pastries and dainty sandwiches.
Your final night is a Scottish candle lit dinner with a traditional ceilidh.

5 - Saturday
A piper gives you a traditional send off after a hearty Scottish breakfast and a wee hot toddy. We catch the afternoon Stena HSS and arrive back at the Europa Buscentre around 5.00pm.
