We leave Belfast at 10.00am and travel west through Enniskillen and Sligo and on to Westport where we check into our hotel, in the centre of the town.

After a leisurely breakfast you have time to check out the town or make use of the swimming pool or fitness suite in the next door Leisure Park, which is free to hotel guests. In the afternoon we travel north, around Clew Bay, to Achill Island for a short tour - the rugged Atlantic coastline can be magnificent in winter, especially from the comfort of a warm coach! We return to the hotel in good time for dinner.

Another morning free to enjoy the hotel or the town. In the afternoon we visit the superb National Museum of Country Life in Castlebar, just 12 miles away, returning again to the hotel in good time for a relaxing final dinner.

Take your time again this morning. After breakfast in late morning we commence our return journey, retracing our outward route and arriving back in Belfast around 6.00pm.
