Stalls packed with a variety of wonderful and unique ideas for Christmas and a vast seasonal array of traditional food and drink from across the county line the narrow streets of this wonderful old walled city in the run up to Christmas.

This tour returns to the ever popular four star Holiday Inn Harrogate, which is only 45 minutes from York City.

 


Day 1 - Thursday

We leave the Europa Buscentre at 6.30am to catch the early morning Stena HSS to Scotland from where we continue south to our hotel in the centre of Harrogate.

Day 2/3 - Friday/ Saturday

On Friday and Saturday mornings the coach will leave for York immediately after breakfast and return in time for dinner, allowing two full days to enjoy all the fun of the ‘Fayre’, including:

St Nicholas Fayre Medieval Market - ‘Medieval’ craftsmen demonstrate their skills and sell their wares in the ‘Barley House’, York’s unique medieval townhouse; St Nicholas Fayre Craft Market - crafts & gifts galore, together with hot punch and roasted chestnuts; Yorkshire Pantry Market - a mouth-watering array of Yorkshire’s finest fare will be offered for sampling and sale from pies, pickles and pastries to cheese and chutneys; street theatre, music & dance - adding to the unique atmosphere in the city, York has become synonymous with traditional carol singers, bands and buskers over the period of the Fayre; Antiques Fayre.


 
Day 4 - Sunday

After a leisurely breakfast we begin our return journey, retracing our outward route and arriving back in Belfast around 10.00pm.
