On Friday and Saturday mornings the coach will leave for York immediately after breakfast and return in time for dinner, allowing two full days to enjoy all the fun of the ‘Fayre’, including:
St Nicholas Fayre Medieval Market - ‘Medieval’ craftsmen demonstrate their skills and sell their wares in the ‘Barley House’, York’s unique medieval townhouse; St Nicholas Fayre Craft Market - crafts & gifts galore, together with hot punch and roasted chestnuts; Yorkshire Pantry Market - a mouth-watering array of Yorkshire’s finest fare will be offered for sampling and sale from pies, pickles and pastries to cheese and chutneys; street theatre, music & dance - adding to the unique atmosphere in the city, York has become synonymous with traditional carol singers, bands and buskers over the period of the Fayre; Antiques Fayre. |
