Seaside Resort

Llandudno

Llandudno has retained the elegant charm of the Victorian seaside resort, with its sweeping promenade and pier. It is built around the bay in the shelter of the Great Orme Head, with the Snowdonia Mountains as a backdrop. Its location, on the North Wales coast, just an hour’s drive from Holyhead ferry port, makes it very accessible for Ulsterbus holiday-makers, and the ideal base from which to explore this beautiful part of Britain.

St. George’s Hotel occupies a prime position on the promenade, overlooking the bay. Over the past few years they have spent millions of pounds on major refurbishments, leading to AA 4-star status with a rosette for food. For several years this has been our home-from-home, and we look forward to returning in 2009 when we offer a choice of 5-day holidays (Monday to Friday) and 8-day holidays (Saturday to Saturday).

Day 1 - Monday/Saturday

We leave the Europa Buscentre and travel south to Dun Laoghaire, where we catch the late morning sailing to Holyhead. From there we make the short journey across Anglesey and along the coast to Llandudno, arriving in late afternoon.

Hotel:
