Following the great success of the Gleneagle Hotel coach tours over the past six years we are delighted to introduce our programme for 2008/09.
The Gleneagle team are looking forward to welcoming back the many visitors who return each year on our popular special interest holidays including the “Country Music Festival”, as well as the many sightseeing tours to some of the most famous scenery in Kerry.

Sightseeing Tour

Day
1 - Monday/Sunday
We leave the Europa Buscentre at 9.00am and head for the South West. Following check in to the hotel you can join your fellow travellers at the welcome drinks reception. After dinner you can dance the night away to the superb entertainment.

Day 2 - Tuesday/Monday
After breakfast we take you on a whistle-stop tour, pointing out the main sights of Killarney - Muckross House, Ross Castle, Aghadoe Heights, Kate Kearney’s Cottage & Gap of Dunloe - finishing off the afternoon in Tralee.
On your return to the hotel relax by the roaring fire before dinner. Afterwards you can enjoy the night’s entertainment.
Day 3 - Wednesday/Tuesday
Today there is a trip around one of Ireland’s most dramatic drives - the Ring of Kerry. This evening you will be back in time for your evening meal and another night’s entertainment.
Day 4 - Thursday/Wednesday
Today we will take a trip to Dingle & Slea Head. The Dingle Peninsula is Ireland’s most westerly peninsula as well as a geological and archeological treasure house.
On your return to the hotel enjoy a relaxing swim or sauna before dinner.
Day 5 - Thursday
For your last day in the Gleneagle Hotel you will have the option of taking a trip to Cork, where you can enjoy a welcoming city atmosphere and plenty of shopping streets. On our way home we visit Blarney and the famous Blarney Woollen Mills.
After dinner you can dance the night away in the Gleneagle Ballroom.
Day 5/6 - Friday
Enjoy a hearty breakfast before bidding farewell to Killarney. We arrive back at the Europa Buscentre at around 6.00pm.
