Great Yarmouth

Great Yarmouth is one of the UK’s most popular seaside resorts, offering miles of sandy beaches and a proud maritime heritage. All around the town are charming villages set in the beautiful rural surroundings of the Norfolk Broads. Just half an hour away is the historic city of Norwich.

Day 1 - Sunday

From Belfast we travel to Scotland by HSS and then proceed by coach to our overnight hotel in the midlands.

Hotel::

Holiday Inn Great Barr *** (1 night)

Day 2 - Monday

We continue east this morning with calls at Peterborough and King’s Lynn before arriving at Great Yarmouth.

Hotel::

Comfort Hotel, Great Yarmouth *** (4 nights)

Day 3 - Tuesday

After breakfast we travel the short distance to the ancient city of Norwich. We spend the day exploring the narrow streets and alleys with time for lunch before returning to the coast in late-afternoon.

Day 4 - Wednesday

Free day to get to know Great Yarmouth.

Day 5 - Thursday

We explore the Suffolk Coast as far as the Southwold, an area of outstanding beauty. In the afternoon we travel inland to Bressingham where we visit the marvellous gardens and Steam Museum (tram rides available). Our return journey takes us through Bungay and Gorleston-on-Sea.

Day 6 - Friday

We leave the coast this morning and commence our homeward journey, stopping in Cambridge. We continue north to our overnight stay in outskirts of Birmingham in time for dinner.

Hotel::

Holiday Inn Great Barr *** (1 night)

Day 7 - Saturday

We leave the Holiday Inn today and catch the afternoon sailing from Holyhead to Dublin Port. Using the new tunnel we avoid the Dublin traffic and arrive back at the Europa Buscentre around 7.30pm.
