Nidd Hall is described as a ‘baronial mansion’ set in 45 acres of Victorian gardens. In its hayday it hosted endless parties, one of which saw the first meeting between Edward VIII and a certain Mrs Wallis Simpson. Today it is an historic hotel boasting a 20 metre swimming pool, a leisure complex, a cabaret room, bar, coffee shop, library, games rooms with snooker table and outdoor facilities such as bowling and putting greens.
Its location makes it ideal for tours of the Dales and visits to nearby towns and cities. Our tour includes visits to Knaresborough, Harrogate, the historic city of York and bustling Leeds, a mecca for shoppers. |
