The Winnock Hotel is steeped in history dating back to the 18th century when it was a bustling Coaching Inn and Smithy (blacksmiths). Reported sightings in the hotel include a grey lady and a young blacksmith’s apprentice.

This package incorporates a good deal of walking and guests must be of a reasonable fitness level.

 
Day 1 - Sunday

Once your hosts greet you with a welcome drink you will be issued with a 1950s ration book. Bring a penny - the nearest date to the Winnock penny receives a bottle of malt.

Dinner this evening is a three-course affair with coffee.

Day 2 - Monday

Your first full Scottish breakfast is followed by a full day excursion to experience the fantastic autumn colours of the surrounding countryside.

Afternoon tea is served on your return and dinner this evening is followed by the hotel’s tribute singer “Dean Martin” - dance to your favourite 50’s ballads.

 

 



 

Day3 - Tuesday

Another hearty breakfast sets you up for a trip to the seaside town of Oban. En-route there is a visit the Royal Burg

h town of Inveraray. Tea and pancakes greet you on your return followed later by another sumptuous dinner. Dance the night away to our ‘50’s Disco.


Day 4 - Wednesday

Today’s excursion includes a loch cruise. Dinner is followed by a ’50’s bingo evening, with a chance to win a free holiday!


Day 4 - Thursday

After breakfast this morning there is a hot toddy and a piper to bid you farewell. We retrace our outward journey and arrive back at the Europa Buscentre around 5.00pm
