The “Highland” is Scotland’s premier agricultural show and one of the most popular in the United Kingdom. It attracts visitors from all over the world, with particular interest shown by Northern Ireland’s farming community and country dwellers.

This 4-day tour is based in the 4 star Hilton Strathclyde Hotel, situated between Motherwell and Coatbridge, just 30 miles from the show site at Ingliston, to the west of Edinburgh. Admission to the show is included on both Friday (Ladies’ Day) and Saturday.
 

Day 1 - Thursday

We leave Belfast on the mid-day HSS, and travel north from Stranraer, arriving at our hotel in the early evening.

Day 2 - Friday

After a full Scottish breakfast we board our coach around 8.00am in order to spend a full day at the show, which has something for everyone, especially on “Ladies’ Day”. We return to the hotel in time for dinner.


 

  

 

Day 3 - Saturday

We depart the hotel early again for another full day at the show. The coach will also travel into Edinburgh around mid-day for anyone who would like to squeeze in a little shopping! The coach picks up again in Edinburgh and at the show site before returning to the hotel in time to freshen up before dinner.

Day 4 - Monday

We check out of the hotel around 11.00am and drive to Stranraer where we take the mid-afternoon HSS back to Belfast, arriving at the Europa Buscentre around 5.00pm.
