Spend a week-end at one of Glasgow’s finest new 3 star city centre hotels, and still have money left to spend in what is reckoned by many to be the no. 1 shopping city in Britain outside London.
The tour is arranged on a bed & breakfast basis. This allows you opportunity to try some of the city’s super restaurants for your evening meal. However, if you wish to dine in the hotel, Ulsterbus guests can avail of a £7 discount voucher when ordering from the table d’ hote menu (normally priced at £18.95).
Day 1 - Friday
We leave the Europa Buscentre at 6.30am in order to catch the early morning HSS to Stranraer, from where we drive directly to Glasgow, arriving around mid-day at our city centre hotel.
A full Scottish Breakfast sets you up for a full day’s shopping. Our central location means that you can return to the hotel at any time during the day.
Day
3 - Sunday
After a leisurely breakfast, we leave the hotel around mid-day and drive to the spectacular IKEA store.
You have a few hours for a final shopping spree before returning to Stranraer for the evening sailing back to Belfast. We are expected back at the Europa Buscentre at 10.00pm.
