The Royal Highland Centre at Ingliston plays host to Scotland’s national celebration of gardening and outdoor living.

For three days the Flora Hall is transformed into a blaze of colour and the air is filled with wonderful fragrances. There are over 400 exhibitors, show gardens, a craft marquee and a food fayre, plus lots of horticultural fun at the Beechgrove Theatre, where you can put the experts on the spot

Day 1 - Friday

We leave the Europa Buscentre at 11.30am and catch the mid-day HSS to Stranraer from where we proceed north to our hotel on the east side of Glasgow, just an hour’s drive from Ingleiston, the site of the show.

We arrive around 5.00pm, with time to freshen up - you should have time to use the hotel’s excellent leisure facilities before dinner.

Overnight:

Hilton Strathclyde ****

(2 nights)

Day 2 - Saturday

We leave the hotel immediately after breakfast and travel directly to Ingliston, on the west side of Edinburgh, where we spend a full day at Scotland’s premier gardening extravaganza (show opens at 10.00am and closes at 6.00pm).

At the end of the day we return to our hotel where dinner is served around 8.00pm.

Day 3 - Sunday

We leave the hotel in late morning, after a hearty Scottish breakfast, and proceed south to Stranraer where we catch the afternoon sailing, arriving at the Europa Buscentre around 5.00pm.
