This relaxing new tour is designed to let you go as you please in your own time, giving you the “freedom of the Isle of Man”.

The Island is just 33 miles long and 13 miles wide. The capital, Douglas, on the east coast, is our base for the duration of the tour.

Our hotel, the 4-star Hilton, is located on the central promenade overlooking the beach, just a short distance from the ferry terminal (transfers to and from the boat are included). Here you will find everything you expect from a top hotel - restaurants, bars, a casino, a LivingWell Health Club and Spa, including a heated indoor pool. The famous Douglas Horse trams stop at the door.

Day 1 - Sunday

The tour begins at the Europa Buscentre at 9.00am* with a coach transfer to the Isle of Man Steam Packet Company terminal at Belfast Harbour. After a three-hour crossing the ferry arrives in Douglas at 1.45pm, followed by a transfer directly to the nearby Hilton Hotel.

An Ulsterbus courier accompanies each group, and the tour package includes an “Explorer Ticket” which allows you the luxury of relaxed, unlimited travel on all public transport on the island. Travel by bus, steam railway, horse drawn tram, electric rail (Douglas to Ramsey) and Snaefell Mountain Railway, all on the one ticket! (For use on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday.)

*Departure and arrival times are correct at time of going to print but may vary a little in 2008

Day 2 - 4 Mon - Wed

Hilton breakfasts are famous - they set you up for a full day of adventure! Your “Explorer Ticket” gives you the freedom to explore this very compact island, at your own pace and in your own time.

Head north through Groudle Glen to see the famous Victorian Waterwheel at Laxey, or south through Silverdale Glen to the former capital Castletown and beautiful Port Erin, or stay in Douglas to enjoy the hotel facilities, the shops and of course, the superb shows.

A relaxing dinner in the splendid surroundings of the Hilton awaits you each evening.

Day 5 - Thursday

The return ferry does not leave until 3.00pm, so you have lots of time for a last look around. A coach awaits your arrival back in Belfast at 6.00pm for transfer to the Europa Buscentre.
