Due to the overwhelming popularity and success of the Gleneagle ‘Christmas Criac-ers’ tours we are delighted to tell you about our new programme for Christmas 2007. Over the last five years thousands of people have travelled to Killarney with Ulsterbus Tours in the weeks leading up to Christmas to enjoy some Christmas shopping and this unique festive break.
Yet again they have organised a fantastic itinerary including shopping trips by day and glitzy parties at night, the highlight being a Gala Christmas Party and Dance on the final evening
Day 1 Sunday /Monday
The coach leaves the Europa Buscentre at 9.00am and heads for Killarney, checking into the Gleneagle Hotel in the late afternoon. Once you have enjoyed a little relaxation, join your fellow guests at the welcoming Mulled Wine reception, before dinner in the Flesk Restaurant.
Afterwards you can dance the night away or simply relax and enjoy the superb entertainment in the famous Gleneagle Ballroom.
After breakfast there is a trip to Tralee where you can enjoy the shops and the Christmas atmosphere before returning to Killarney for the afternoon. Special 10%-15% discount shopping vouchers have been organised in some of Killarney’s finest stores including Quills, The Killarney Outlet Centre, Christy’s Irish Stores and Carraig Donn.
On your return to the hotel, enjoy a relaxing swim or sauna before dinner and evening entertainment.
Day 3 - Tuesday/Wednesday
Today we take a trip to Cork and enjoy the magical atmosphere of the city pre-Christmas. On our way home we visit Blarney and the famous Blarney Woollen Mills.
After dinner you can relax those weary feet and enjoy a game of bingo with prizes galore or continue to party with lively entertainment and a sing-along in the Celebrity Club.
Day 4 - Wednesday/Thursday
Today a special treat is in store when you have the option of taking a trip to Muckross Gardens. There you can explore the many historic rooms and stairways in this well preserved historic house and visit Muckross Craft Centre where you can enjoy a 10% discount.
You will be back in time for your evening meal followed again by entertainment.
Day 5 - Thursday*/Friday
A free day to enjoy the superb facilities of Gleneagle Aquila Club with its 25m swimming pool, jacuzzi, sauna and steam room, and ladies, you can pamper yourselves in the beauty salon.
You can also avail of an optional tour of the Ring of Kerry.
Tonight enjoy a Gala Christmas Banquet and Dance, guaranteed to be a night to remember.
Day 6 - Friday
Enjoy a hearty breakfast before bidding farewell to Killarney. We hope to return to Belfast at around 6.00pm.
