Glasgow has established itself as an alternative venue to Edinburgh, with many schools now basing themselves in this rejuvenated city. Glasgow has undergone a re-birth as an exciting “post-industrial” centre and it is appropriate that a city with such an industrial and commercial history now plays host to the wonderful Science Centre, offering a view into the future. As well as a visit to M&D’s, Scotland’s premier theme park, why not combine this with a visit to Amazonia, an indoor tropical rainforest packed full with exotic animals, offering children and adults an insight into life in a tropical forest.

Finally, we cannot talk about Glasgow without mentioning football. With two of the best supported clubs in Britain (or anywhere else for that matter!), our ability to obtain match tickets for school groups from Northern Ireland proves popular with both pupils and teachers alike.
