Roughly the size of Northern Ireland, Yorkshire is England’s biggest county and, like Northern Ireland, it is further sub-divided. Our tour is based in the north of the county, in the charming spa town of Harrogate from where, with the aid of local guides, we explore some of the less well known parts of the Moors and the Dales.
Our day in the Dales takes in beautiful Ripon, while the tour of the Moors includes Herriot Country and a visit to the majestic Castle Howard. We also spend a full day in one of England’s most historic cities, York, where we have arranged an introductory city tour and a visit to the spectacular Minster. |
