We take the early morning HSS to Stranraer and proceed north through Perth and Dundee, along the east coast of Angus and Aberdeenshire to our first hotel on the edge of the Granite City.

We drive through Royal Deeside today, with stops along the way at some of the towns and villages on the banks of the river - Banchory, Aboyne, Crathie Church and Braemar. In the afternoon we pass through Glenshee before arriving in the small town of Dunkeld and our hotel, in its own estate on the bank of the Tay, just outside the town.

After a leisurely breakfast and a little time to enjoy our surroundings we proceed to Edinburgh, where we have a full day free in one of the most beautiful cities in Britain, concluding with the Military Tattoo (dinner is not included this evening to allow the opportunity to sample some of Edinburgh’s marvellous restaurants).

The final leg of our tour takes us through the Trossachs and on to Stranraer, where we catch the evening HSS back to Belfast, arriving at the Europa Buscentre around 10.00pm.
