Administrative Assistant – Document Control (Ref. 036799)
Infrastructure, Milewater Road, Belfast
Salary Scale 4: £16,197 - £17,795
You will control, co-ordinate and track the implementation of safety standards, procedures and other safety critical environments, and provide administrative support for the divisional management systems.
Essential Criteria: 3 GCSE’s at grade C or above, or equivalent, in English, Maths and 1 other subject or, alternatively, be able to demonstrate at least 5 years experience in a similar post. Experience of setting up systems in order to control issue of documents to exacting standards. Experience of developing basic document management systems. Computer literate with experience of working with spreadsheets and databases. Flexible approach to work and working hours.
Desirable Criteria: ECDL, Microsoft Office Specialist or equivalent. Experience of using Snowdrop or Sharepoint. Experience of developing spreadsheets and databases.

Job Purpose
Offer service to the general public to standards required by the Bus Companies as defined in the Passengers Charter.
Main Duties & Responsibilities
The following reflects typical duties and is not intended to be a comprehensive description of all tasks.
1. Operate local Bus Services, Express, school & Contract work.
2. Operate vehicle in accordance with route and time schedules.
3. Ensure the health and safety of passengers.
4. Ensure the safe conveyance of students to & from schools/educational
establishments.
5. Communicate with passengers and operate passenger comfort systems.
6. Uplifting and dropping off passengers to destinations.
7. Collect fares, issue tickets and pre-purchased tickets.
8. Account of ticket sales and passengers carried.
9. Put money in night safe/cash handling machines where appropriate.
10. Report any accidents/faults and fill in daily record book.
11. Inform Inspector or Yard staff of any cleaning, fuelling or maintenance that needs to be carried out on vehicle.
