Toilets
Aboard, there are two separate toilet facilities, located to the front and rear of the train.
The standard toilet facility is unisex. Inside, a manual lever is operated to lock and unlock the doors.
The second toilet facility provides disabled access, but is available for all to use. This facility has a wide, automatic-opening door that is operated by push button, and also locked inside by push button (with an audible voice prompt). The facility is spacious enough to accommodate a carer when needed and is also equipped with a babychanging unit.
Outside the toilets, lights indicate when a facility is occupied.
Both toilets are equipped with a wash hand basin and mirror; soap dispenser; water – light activated tap – and a ‘call for aid’ button on the wall (two in disabled access toilets).
