Special Bus Services

We operate a number of special bus services which include:

Nightlink

Nightlink services are operated by Metro providing a special weekend service from the City Centre on Saturday nights to main towns within a 25 mile radius of Belfast.

Nightlink serves Newtownabbey, Carrickfergus, Bangor, Newtownards, Comber/Ballygowan, Ballynahinch, Downpatrick (0200 only), Lisburn, Antrim and Ballyclare/Doagh (0200 only) and departs from Donegal Square West at 0100 and 0200.

Tickets cost £3.50 and are available on board the bus or from the Metro Kiosk. All services operate a no-smoking and non-alcohol policy and have CCTV cameras in operation on all buses.

Rural Transport

In association with the Department for Regional Development, Translink operates services in rural areas. They are designed to provide access to the nearest market town and to make it easier to get out and about at evenings and the weekends. To find out more about rural transport services contact your nearest Ulsterbus station.
