Veronica Palmer OBE
Chairman

A current member of the Board of Arriva PLC, Ms Palmer is formerly Chief Executive of the Conference of Passenger Transport.

Catherine Mason
NITHC Group Chief Executive

Catherine previously worked at the international transport group Arriva where she was Managing Director of Arriva Midlands (UK) and Commercial Director of CrossCountry trains.

Jim Aiken
NITHC Director of Corporate Affairs 

Mr Aiken was previously Director of Finance at DRD Roads Service for three years. Prior to this post, Mr Aiken held the position of Head of Finance at N.I. Railways for six years.

Ray Bentley
Chair of Group Corporate Planning Committee

Mr. Bently was first appointed to the Board in May 2002, following his retirement in 2001 as Head of Transport Services for Plymouth County Council.

Peter Bunting

Mr Bunting was first appointed to the Board in July 2002. He is Assistant-General Secretary of the Irish Congress of Trade Unions and a member of the Economic Development Forum.

John Doran 

Mr Doran is a former Chief Executive of Belfast Harbour. From 1997-2004, he operated as Chief Executive of Belfast City Airport and on the 1st of February 2006 he was appointed Chief Executive of Belfast International Airport.

Daniel Harvey OBE
Chair of Group Audit Committee

Prior to joining the NITHC Board, Mr Harvey was Managing Director of the First Trust Bank from 1994-1997. Subsequently, he held senior positions with Allied Irish Bank Group. Mr Harvey retired in 1999.

Ruth Laird
Chair of Group Remuneration

Until recently, Mrs Laird held the position of N.I. Regional Director of the National Trust. Mrs Laird has also held a number of public appointments, including Commissioner in the Fair Employment Commission.

Gerry Lennon

Mr Lennon is Chief Executive of Belfast Visitor and Convention Bureau. Previously, he was Head of Customer Communications with BT (NI) and has served on the boards of the National Trust, N.I. Events Company, and the N.I. Tourism Industry Confederation.
